This is a quick introduction to Scottish Readathon, a readathon which will run through Scottish Book Week (16th-22nd November 2020) with the aim of reading and celebrating the work of Scottish writers.
Erin @paperbackcollective and I inviting you to join us in reading Scottish books throughout the week, posting about Scottish books you’re planning to read or shouting about those you have previously read and loved. Use the hashtag #ScottishReadathon and follow our Twitter account @ScotReadathon to join in the community.
Throughout the week we will be active on social media, sharing our favourite books by Scottish authors and chatting about what we are currently reading.
I’ll also be doing some blogging, and you can expect to see blogs featuring BAME Scottish writers, LGBTQIA+ Scottish writers and a whole host of other fun stuff.
Let me know if there’s anything, in particular, you’d like to see me feature and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
In the meantime, I created a list on Goodreads where you can find some books by Scottish writers (it is by no means exhaustive) and add any others that you know of.
I’m excited to read alongside you and connect with you this Scottish Book Week!
